Description
Monday Starts on Saturday (Понедельник начинается в субботу in Russian) is a point-n-click graphic adventure game based on the science fiction / science fantasy novel of the same name (1965) by the Soviet Russian authors Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. The game follows the novel's plot very closely, describing three time periods in the life of a programmer Alexander Privalov. Starting with his occasional encounter of the paranormal phenomena in the summer 1962, it continues with certain events occurred with him in the eve of New Year 1963 and during the spring of 1963, when he was employed as an engineer at the paranormal Soviet scientific research institute. The player controls Alexander Privalov moving him from one static screen to another, talking to characters, casting the magic spells, collecting and using the inventory items.
