Description official description

Hentai Dojo is a simple, single player puzzle game. It can be played with the mouse or keyboard, in either full screen or windowed mode.

The game loads to a puzzle selection screen, at the top of the screen are two 'buttons' Soft and Intense which toggle between fifteen soft-core and ten more graphic images. The puzzles themselves are identical in format, they consist of one large circle within which are four other circles, the player has to recreate the image by rotating these circles which are, of course, linked.

The game has oriental-style music and there is no in-game help, the player's only guide to the final picture is the thumbnail picture on the menu

Simple but quite well done

The Good
The artwork is simple but quite well done. Though it's still not suitable for work, where there are graphic details the offending body parts have been pixellated.

The music is not bad at all. It's kind of oriental in style and is on a loop but it's quite pleasant. I've played for a couple of hours now and for most of the time I've left the music playing which, for me, is unusual.

Although all the puzzles are the same, well they have the same format, they do vary in complexity. Basically, it's harder to match up a picture that's all flesh tones - it's much easier when there's some clothing to show which way is up! I still haven't been able to work out whether interconnectedness of the circles is the same in each puzzle.

The Bad
Moving the circles around did feel a bit imprecise at times, especially when trying to move the outer circle, and it was hard getting the various parts of the image to line up precisely.

Whenever the game runs my firewall pops up with a warning that it is trying to access the internet. No idea why and I don't see why it needs to.

The Bottom Line
Once you get the hang of the controls, each puzzle can be solved in maybe five minutes or so, it depends on how closely you study the menu's thumbnail picture and whether you know which way the picture's axis runs. Not a game you'll sit down and play every puzzle in one sitting. Play it, forget it, rediscover it in a few weeks and have another go, repeat, repeat....

The controls are simple, the concept is simple, the music is quite relaxing and all in all it's a pleasant little time waster and a change from playing solitaire.
