Spectrum TD

Spectrum TD is a tower defense game, in which the player must prevent waves of insects from getting to the other end of the path. There are many several types of towers that can be built to guard the path, from simple towers which shoot at passing insects, to more unusual trick towers such as acid towers that make the bugs more vulnerable to damage. The built towers can also be upgraded to increase their capabilities. Killing the insects grants money to be spent on building and upgrading towers, and every few waves the player receives "color points" which can be spent to unlock new tower types.

The insect hordes include both ground-bound and flying bugs, which are vulnerable to different kinds of towers, and every few waves a boss insect with lots of health makes an appearance. If an insect makes it to the end of the path the player loses a life, and losing all lives means a game over.
