Smash Hits! Videostar: Volume 3 is a video karaoke enhanced DVD which contains music videos, karaoke videos, wallpapers and a simple pop quiz. The DVD autoloads to a menu screen which has the following sections; Karaoke: Ten music videos with the lead vocals removed, each displays the lyrics when played so that the player can sing along.

  • Pop Video: : These are the same ten videos that featured in the two Karaoke section, here the lead vocals remain but the lyrics are not displayed
  • Video Wallpapers: Short video clips, no more than a minute long, that are intended to be used in home made karaoke tracks, the clips are titled Mirrorball; Colours; Smash Hits; Disco Lights; Log Fire; Driving; Lava Lamp; Turntable; Pop Video Clips and Clouds.
  • Pop Challenge Quiz: A simple single player, multiple choice quiz. There are just fifty questions in the quiz and it is quite possible to get the same question multiple times, questions have been observed to repeat consecutively
