Space Station A-1

Space Station A-1 is a 1-layer space-themed arcade game for the Apple II.

Your society is perishing. Your people are crying for help. Vicious alien forces have sprayed all life with deadly germs. Slowly the planet deteriorates as these aliens now turn to you. Protected within an orbiting space station, you must destroy them first.

The player controls a spaceship which can move in all directions, but can fire vertically up and down. The player's bullets follow their movement, allowing for curved shots. The player must avoid alien ships and bullets. When the player destroys all ships, they progress to a higher numbered but completely identical level. The player has 5 ships, and when all are lost it's game over.
