THE GAME

Keep PAC-MAN alive. Guide him and guard him ; protect him from the ghosts. Gobble dots, energy pills, fruit and ghosts to score points. Eat all the dots on the screen and the maze starts all over. Score 10,000 points and earn a bonus PAC-MAN.
You have 3 lives. The ghosts are out to devour PAC-MAN but when you eat one of the energy pills they will turn blue with fright and this gives you the chance to gobble them up. But watch out, when the ghosts start blinking they're about to change back to their normal colour. The more ghosts you gobble with one energy pill the more points you score.
For the tasty treat PAC-MAN delights in munching fruit such as cherries, strawberries, etc. They only last a few seconds so grab the fruit quickly to score bonus points.### SURVIVAL HINTS

Use strategy and try to save your energy pills until you absolutely need them. Stay close to an energy pill before you eat it and tease the ghosts into moving towards you. When they get close, eat the pill and gobble up as many ghosts as you can. Use the slide openings of the maze like escape tunnels. Fressen, mampfen — Schluck ! Wer vertilgt die Energie- Kügelchen ? Wer irrt mit Verstand und rasender Geschwindigkeit durch die Labyrinthe? Wer ist derjenige, der die Geister mal das Fürchten lehrt und fette Beute macht? Es ist PAC-MAN, der Welt hungrigster Bursche! Vertilgt Früchte oder andere süße Sachen, und Ihr bekommt ein hohes Punkte-Konto. Werdet Ihr von den Jägern erwischt, dann allerdings seid Ihr „Geistflakes". Um nicht zum zweiten Frühstück der Burschen zu werden, benützt Ihr einen der Zeit-Tunnel und haut erst einmal ab.

Nun könnt Ihr den Evergreen auf Eurem GAME BOY antesten, allein oder mit einem Kumpel. Hierzu zwei Geräte mit dem Spezialkabel verbinden. Treibt Euch nun in Euren „eigenen" Labyrinthen rum und vernascht die Geisterchen. Diese Verschlungenen tauchen dann wie ein Blitz aus heiterem Himmel beim „Nachbarn" auf. Nun muß jener noch schneller Mahlzeit halten und konzentrierter zur Sache gehen!
