Wear a Rope

Years ago there used to be a fairground side show in which the player was given a metal wand which ended in a metal ring and to win a prize they had to move the ring along a twisted, convoluted wire from one end to the other. Both the wand and the wire were connected to some form of electricity so if they touched a buzzer would sound and it was 'Game Over'.

Wear A Rope is a single player 2D, side-scrolling game simulation of that game in which the player has to perform the same task within a time limit. The ring stays in the centre of the screen while the rope scrolls right to left, the player clicks the mouse to nudge the ring upwards and keep it clear of the rope
