Short, but good

The Good
Light Crusader is good but there are better games that are similar. The puzzles are rarely hard, but are still really enjoyable. The enemies and background vary enough to keep it fresh, so each depth is different. The boss battles stand out in this game for being better animated than intelligent, so while you're whacking away with your sword you at least have something nice to look at.

The Bad
The characters are all forgettable and their generic, digitized "thank you" really starts to get annoying. Light Crusader is fun but there are so few levels and the bosses are all easy but one. There's way too much healing food for any part of the game to be hard.

The Bottom Line
Light Crusader is a short, easy RPG that looks good and plays fine, but doesn't have enough depth. Fans of RPGs may like it though even if it takes 3 sittings.
