X-men Pigeons! Oh Wait I Mean Legends!

The Good
X-men Legends is an Action RPG in which you play as the X-men(Duh!) and the story starts out when a young girl named Alison Crestmere discovers she is a mutant with the power to erupt lava at her will and of coarse the X-men come to bring her to the safety of the X-Mansion but the evil Brotherhood of mutants also want her to help them in there latest evil scheme

The game plays sort of similar to a Beat-Em-Up but with RPG Elements like the ability to level up your members and choosing what thing they learn next and what the characters strength is certain characters can cooperate and do combos for extra damage and special moves against the many enemies including Pyro, The Blob, Mystique, and Magneto. In the game there are 15 X-men to choose from though not right away some are unlocked by either speaking with them in the X-Mansion in between missions or completing certain missions these mutants include Cyclops, Wolverine, Gambit, Nightcrawler, and Rogue each with unique powers.

The has you traveling to many areas familiar to comic fans like the morlocks sewers, Asteroid M, Muir island, and the X-mansion each beautifully rendered using the Cel-Shading graphics technique originally from the Jet Grind Radio Series your characters must slice and dice through lots of enemies healing with health potions and mutant powers take up energy from your energy bar you can also give your characters armor and other upgrades to improve their stats.

This game is a fun multiplayer game to play with your friends who can jump in at anytime and exit at anytime.

The Bad
The Thing that I didn’t particularly like was the difficulty some parts were incredibly easy others were frustratingly hard like the final boss while other bosses are easy like Magneto.

The Bottom Line
Overall This game is a fun Action RPG specially if you are into the X-men comics this games offers about 15 hours or so of fun alone or with a friend.
