Safari

Safari is a strategy and action game for one to six players.

You're in the running for a contract with a major Hollywood film studio. To win the contract, you must go on safari in Africa to photograph as many animals in their natural surrounding as possible without becoming lost or running out of supplies.

Played on a large 13 x 13 grid, the player must explore in search of animals to photograph. At the beginning of each expedition, the player must choose from a limited number of cameras, supplies, guides, and bearers to accompany them. Each move on the grid costs a number of supplies. Guides increase the odds of finding an animal. After finding an animal, the player enters an arcade section, where they must try to position a moving animal in the center of their camera frame to take a good picture. Supplies dwindle quickly while photographing. Points are awarded for the number of animal pictures successfully captured. There are 3 levels of difficulty.
