Ultimate Wizard
Description
This updated version of Wizard is a platform-style game which was likened to Epyx's Jumpman. Your character is the Ultimate Wizard. You must face dark enemies as you move through the bricks, ladders, staircases of the game. Cast spells to destroy them, or otherwise avoid them using levitation arrows or other magic. When you Wizard finds the key and places it in the keyhole, he is finished for that level, but soon the next level will appear while sounds play as the level materializes in front of the player.
Controls are 4-way joystick. 1-6 players can alternate in turns. As well as the 40 levels from the original Wizard, there are 60 more included - some submitted by the public, and some designed by Paul Reiche III of Archon fame.

Average score: 4.4 out of 5 (based on 6 ratings with 1 reviews)
The Good
Spells, magic (sliding) staircases, ropes, ladders, teleportation devices, magic fireballs, cool sounds, construction set, hours and hours of fun
The Bad
Long load times. However, with a cracked version and Epyx Fastload, it was much better. You really want a separate computer for the game and the construction set.
The Bottom Line
A better Jumpman than Jumpman.
