Name the States

Name the States is a single player, shareware, quiz game based on the states in the United States of America.

The game is played in a window that starts in the centre of the screen, it can be moved but it can not be resized. It starts with a grey background upon which is a white map of the United States of America showing the state boundaries. There are two levels to this game:.* Level one: a state on the map is coloured blue. The player has to identify the state and select its name from a pick list and if they are correct the state is coloured green otherwise it is coloured red and the player is told the correct answer.

• Level Two: this is the same game as Level one but after identifying the state the player is asked to select the state capital from another pick list.

After completing a game it is NOT possible to play another immediately, the player must exit the game and start afresh.
