Who's Who Of Animals: A Truly Wild Interactive Experience
Description
This title is an interactive edutainment title for children which was released to promote National Geographic Kids magazine, there's a subscription button on the main menu.
There's no installation process, everything runs from the CD, also there are no animal sounds and no commentary just some optional elevator style music.
Aside from the animal information there are three mini games located under the '3 Grrreat Games' option on the main menu screen ;* Seek and Find: here the player has to locate animals hidden within a picture. There are ten animals to find on each level and two levels to play. The puzzle does not alter when replayed.
- Nana Nonsense: There is a monkey on the bottom of the screen and this can be moved left and right with the mouse. Bananas drop from the top left and the player must use the monkey to bounce them into his monkey house on the right, a life is lost for every banana that hits the floor. Naturally there are hazards to avoid and extra lives to be collected.
- Interactive Wordsearch: This is a pretty standard puzzle with words running horizontally, vertically and diagonally which the player selects with the mouse. The word list for this puzzle remains the same every time the game is played but the placing of the words changes.
Also on the main menu screen is an Animal Quiz which consists of fifty multiple choice questions and within that option is an e-mail competition to win a London Zoo animal adoption pack.
