Magnus & Myggen: Skumlesens Hævn

Magnus & Myggen: Skumlesens Hævn is an educational point-and-click adventure game, and the third entry in the Skipper & Skeeto series. It is a direct sequel to The Great Treasure Hunt. The villain Mr. Shade has captured two moles - series protagonist Skipper (Danish: Magnus), and new character Suzy (Mia) - to add to his taxidermy collection. However, Skipper's friend Skeeto (Myggen) is able to free one of the captured moles, selected by the player, but the other is taken to the 8th floor of Mr. Shade's tower. The player must then navigate to the top of the tower to rescue their friend, and escape from Mr Shade.

The game plays mostly like a conventional point-and-click adventure game, with occasional combat against Mr. Shade's robotic spiders. Most puzzles involve using and combining inventory items on the right objects. Combat is turn based and decided by random dice rolls, though both of the selectable characters have their strengths and weaknesses. Aside from items used to solve puzzles, the player can also find items that aid in combat, such as hit point restoring candies.

Each floor of the tower is themed after a type of natural environment, and populated with stuffed animals from said environment. The player can click on the animals to learn about them, as well as read signs where Mr. Shade provides some commentary. The player must read all signs on each floor to progress to the next one.
