1989 (Taylor's Version) vault is a collective puzzle created to promote the release of the re-rerecorded album of the same name. When users searched for "Taylor Swift" on Google, a baby blue vault graphic would drop down on the screen; clicking on it would take the user to a series of 89 word puzzles with answers related to Taylor Swift songs. Users would have enter their answers via Google search, with a correct answer taking them to the next puzzle. Once a collective 33 million puzzles had been solved, a voice message from Taylor Swift was unlocked, revealing the titles of four of five new tracks on the re-recorded album.
