Toride
Description
Toride is a puzzle game that uses mahjong tiles, similar to the famous Shanghai tile-matching game. Like in Shanghai, the player is tasked with clearing a stack of mahjong tiles arranged in a grid. However rather than matching pairs directly from the stack, the player must pick individual tiles into their hand. Pairs of tiles in the player's hand are discarded and cleared, but if the hand exceeds 7 tiles the player loses. Only exposed tiles can be picked up, and some tiles are concealed on the stack until they are picked into the hand. In addition to the single-player mode there are also two-player competitive and cooperative modes.
