Jet Bomber
Description
The boiling point of a revolution is reached and violence erupts in the deserts and plains of the United Republic of Abadeer. Now Hasan the Merciless, leader of the Abadeer Liberation Front, begins a campaign of terror against the multinational Oxxan Oil Company. Because Lawrence, the President of the United Republic of Abadeer, refuses to act and stop the slaughter, Grey Mantis, a deadly Jet Bomber, is hired by Oxxan Oil Company.
Jet Bomber is an arcade simulation in which the player must fly secretly into Abadeer, past army and rebels to destroy the rebel base. The aim of the game is to have the player progress from one phase to another while shooting and bombing as many targets as possible. The more hits, the more fuel and points are earned. Missiles that can hit the player must also be avoided.
The game is split into 5 phases;
-
Phase 1: Army and Rebels - Fly low to target the barracks on the ground and the fuel tanks. Missiles that can hit the player must also be avoided.
-
Phase 2: First Bombardment - This time fly as high as possible to avoid detection by enemy radar and bomb the target on the ground. Avoid the approaching missiles again.
-
Phase 3: Fighters - A fleet of fighters must be driven away by flying at the same altitude as the enemy.
-
Phase 4: Second Bombardment - Same as Phase 2, but now the missiles move at an incredible speed.
-
Phase 5: Rebel base - Destroy the rebel base by flying at the right altitude while avoiding the deadly fire.
In Phases 1 - 4 there are also activated enemy anti-aircraft guns on all sides.
