Description
An alien vessel has landed outside your town. Nobody knows exactly where it came from, or what its purpose is. Several people have ventured into its mysterious interior, but none has returned -and lived- to tell his story. You, the game's protagonist, are on the same mission; to explore the titular star cruiser and find out what it its occupants are up to.
Star Cruiser is an interactive fiction game, where you explore a number of interconnected locations, pick up useful objects and utilize them to solve problems, overcome obstacles and defend yourself.
No graphics are provided, but instead the game will give any given location's concise description on the top of the screen. The text parser understands commands such as (I)nventory to see what your character is currently carrying around, directions (N, S, E, W) and verb+noun sequences. A save/load feature is also present, since there are several ways to lose your life.

Trivia
According to the author/developer, the game was originally written in for the Tandy TRS-80 in 1980. However, no widespread release ever took place and that original version is publicly unavailable.
