The Good
The first thing that you notice about the game are the large colourful sprites, which are very reminiscent of the arcade game it is clearly based on. The game is easy to get into, with joystick compatibility, & most should be able to play for a bit without getting killed. The sound effects also add to the feel of the game, as you would expect in a decent shoot-em-up.

The title screen has a nice table listing how you score, & the game lists your current high score.

The Bad
There doesn't seem much variety in the game regarding skill levels, with just one level available, & once you get into the game it can become repetitive.

The Bottom Line
This is probably one of the earliest decent arcade type games for the machine, taking account of its graphics & sound ability, The author manages to get a good version of the game. I must admit I was expecting another basic attempt when I loaded this up, but am pleasantly surprised. Not great but if you are looking for a simple early Galaxian clone this is a good one to try out.
