Description
Brainstorm is a 2-player puzzle game for the BBC Micro.
Each player controls a laser on opposite sides of a 20 x 15 field, and has a single brain that they must protect from enemy laser attack and friendly fire. Each turn the player can move their laser to a different row, or place a mirror with a deflection factor of 1–8. When a laser hits a deflection point it changes direction, and the laser can hit up to 25 mirrors before running out of power.
When all positions have been filled with mirrors, it's game over. Mirrors can not be set up in front of a laser or beside a brain. There are three difficulties of board layout.
