Balti Virtual created an AR basketball game for the Sacramento Kings. Fans can launch the game, place the court, and drain shots from anywhere in the world! For the team's 2023 playoff run, the Sacramento Kings placed posters around Golden 1 Center for fans to scan & play.
After scanning the QR code and placing the court, fans begin tapping when the meter is in the purple area to make the ball go in the basket. As the shots continue to go in, the the game's difficulty level ramps making it harder to tap at the correct time. Once a shot is missed, the game is over and the final score is calculated.
The Kings continued to promote the game in-stadium throughout their 2023 playoff run!
