Legend of the Red Dragon II: New World

Development

New World was originally to be a science fiction-themed game; Seth Robinson was so confident in its imminent release that he plugged it in Legend of the Red Dragon and his second BBS door, the also-sci-fi Planets: TEOS. Said Seth:

"At the time, it was half done - it was a futuristic game that let you join a colonizing ship to go to a new world, and eventually Earth is destroyed for some reason and this little colony is all that is left. Alien artifacts are found and sold, you basically walked around and stuff, including flirting with this Natasha chick. BUT: I got bored and quit working on it. I don't know, I got bored and quit working on everything."

After some irate fan mail, however, he found the motivation to revisit New World's code, mentally rebranding it LORD 2 , approaching things from the fantasy angle once again and getting enough of a second wind to get the product to a point where it could be publicly released.
