Xor
Description
Xor is an enhanced version of a puzzle game in which the player controls two avatars wandering through one of fifteen different labyrinthine levels in any order, trying to collect all the comedic masks and return to the level exit without running out of moves. Developed and released seventeen years after the game's initial release, this Windows conversion naturally features a few aesthetic amenities lacking in the original: graphics and sound are greatly enhanced, including an optional alternate tileset, while the player's view of the surrounding map area is slightly expanded. The game also supports user-made levels, and the porters have provided a level editor for this purpose.

Trivia
A number of minor details have altered this remake's gameplay from that of the original, most notably the sequence in which fish and chickens move -- originally all according to type, now individually. Though seemingly a minor detail, it changes more than one level solution.
Other changes include merciful gestures to the player -- originally levels 11, 13 and 15 could only be accessed directly following the completion of levels 10, 12 and 14, respectively, whereas now they can be selected and played at any time. The player can also now choose to keep the screen view centered on their game piece, while the original versions further restricted the amounts of the game board visible at any given point.
