Pretty bad, but mindless fun when you feel the need

The Good
Well, it looks quite good. And it is sort of fun to play, in a "nothing-to-do-for-half-an-hour-so-I-may-as-well" way. Especially when you watch a computer car soar by you only to smash head-on into a police car - laugh out loud funny at times.

The Bad
It really is pretty bad - the car's handling is completely unrealistic, the AI is non-existent, the tracks look good but many are a real pain to drive and are completely unrealistic, it's unplayable with your expensive force-feedback steering wheel (so stick to keyboard).... That's just off the top of my head.

The Bottom Line
Please don't pay for this game. Find a friend who foolishly bought it and borrow from them. It is kinda fun, but only if you are really bored one day. There are so many better driving games out there you really don't need this.

Brilliant fun

The Good
Technically and gameplay wise, it was the best Test Drive on the PC. It also stole the racing crown from the Need for Speed series, which has been flailing for the last few years.

The Bad
Some of the tracks weren't accurate...

The Bottom Line
Brilliant racing game, underhyped, undermarketed, but the best.

This one sucks too!

The Good
I didn't spend my money on it.

The Bad
Everything: -The game is too slow, its go, wait, go, wait, go, wait, go, wait -The AI sucks -Your car still seems to be like a boat -The AI cars are still stupid -You still can't drive anywhere, only on the track, unlike TD3.

I could go on...

The Bottom Line
The previous games, like The Duel: Test Drive II and Test Drive III: The Passion are much better. However, TD3 is programmed badly and does not run properly on fast PCs even if slowed down.
