Vivid Conceptions
Description official description
The minuscule species of Bantams - creatures no bigger than a tip of a needle - have long thrived on Earth. But everything ended when the insects appeared. They devastated their villages and massacred the Bantams. You take control over one of the Bantams and you have to get to the traditional gathering place of your kind. But the journey there will be long and dangerous...
Vivid Conceptions, described by its author as "half puzzle, half platformer", is primarily a platform game but has some twists. After eating three seeds you can find on the level, your Bantam can get access to one of three special abilities: "Telekinetic Shield", which can destroy your enemies and some obstacles, "Cerebral Control" which allows you to manipulate and move objects in order to build crude bridges or shields, and "Asexual Reproduction", which creates a tiny mini-Bantam that can be controlled by you and that can fit in spaces you can't. There are many enemies on your way - primarily ants, but you'll also encounter dangerous end-of-level bosses. Throughout the many levels, your Bantam will have to slyly use his skills in order to get past the problems in his path. Every few levels the little guy falls asleep and you control him as he faces the challenges that await him in his dreams. There's no mid-level save function, so be careful!
