The truck racing of NASCAR Racing 1999 Edition. Is it worth it?

The Good
This game uses the same engine as the NASCAR Racing 1999 Edition, but the stock cars are omitted and focusing on the trucks only. They are now known as the Camping World Truck Series in the 2010s.

The other things that I liked is that you can do a championship to beat the other drivers to the checkered flag! I also think that the paint kit is integrated into the game like they did in NASCAR Racing 2, and there are more realism options which is similar to that game which I liked it too!

The Bad
No Force Feedback, which means you do not get the vibration effects of a real stock car for this game. A lack of Direct3D acceleration which the 3DFX is only supported in this game.

The Bottom Line
If you own NASCAR Racing 2 with the Grand National expansion pack, then you can add the truck-racing portion to your collection that you are missing. If you own NASCAR Racing 1999 Edition, you already have the truck-racing portion, so there is no need to buy it! However, NASCAR Racing 3's Craftsman Truck expansion pack is also available to those who have that game, because of the improvements over the old ones. Whichever you decide, even if you have any NASCAR Racing game from Papyrus, bet it be from any year released, you can still get the truck-racing portion after all!
