Description official description

As a sequel to DID's sci-fi space simulation Epic, Inferno continues the story-line of the Raxxon - Terran conflict that began at the time of Epic. The premise offers more plot developments than the original game: you are a Terran pilot who was ambushed by the Raxxons, who transformed you surgically into one of their own. Enraged, you killed all the Raxxons on board the station to regain your human form. With renewed vigor and thirst for revenge, you vow to eliminate their race once and for all...

The game's engine is an improved version of the one in TFX.

Trivia

Cancelled Amiga version

As with TFX there were plans to bring this game to the Amiga, but that never happened, and considering the long delays before TFX eventually surfaced (and not from Ocean) this is perhaps a good thing.

Manual

The game manual instructions were interspersed with a comic by Sean Phillips and Shaun Hollywood

Music

Music was by the gothic band Alien Sex Fiend.

Packaging

The first release of this game came in a hinged tin canister rather than the usual box.
