Firedragon

The player controls the horizontal movement of a juvenile dragon on a stony outcropping, moving left to right following the mouse cursor. Clicking the mouse causes the dragon to spit a fireball straight up -- intercepting, conveniently, ice-cube-encased fruits descending from the sky for no apparent reason. Melting the fruit serves two purposes -- removing a threat, as touching an ice cube remove one of three health points, as well as rendering the tasty fruit suitable for collection on the ground if the player is fast enough. Occasional ice cubes contain a special "bomb" fruit which will melt all cubes currently on the screen.

In addition to avoiding physical contact with the falling ice cubes, the dragon must be scrupulous to melt them all and not allow any to fall past his platform, as each missed cube will raise the platform on the screen -- reducing reaction time and ending the game should the platform reach the top of the screen.
