Infogrames had ordered an "aggressive" campaign which should have The Settlers as main target. So the ad company created an advertisement, on which a Wiggle having sex with a The Settlers box could be seen. This was intended by Infogrames, but they cancelled it in the last minute because they "didn't want the Settlers box to be THAT recognizable" - the artist hadn't done any retouche, but had used a scanned box. In the end, they didn't use the picture at all.

Humour

This seems to be a family game with funny little people but as the developers wanted their game to be more "adult", they put in a tribe of weed-smoking dwarves, the "hippies".
