Pure Pazaak

Moby ID: 56510

Description

Pure Pazaak is a fan-made stand-alone version of a fictional card game Pazaak, which was featured as a minigame in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

Pazaak is a derivative of blackjack: each player is dealt a card with an option to play one of four special cards in hand, draw another card or make a stand. The goal is to have a total value of cards greater than the opponent, while not exceeding 20. The special cards can have a negative value, some can even be flipped (played with either positive or negative value) etc. Just like in the original Knights of the Old Republic games, the player collects a deck of increasingly useful special cards, which can change the outcome of a losing game.

Game options include alternative rules and interface (from KotOR1 or 2). Matches can be played in practice mode (all cards available), campaign (collecting cards from opponents) or multiplayer (via direct IP).
