Jigsaw World
- Jigsaw World (1995 on PlayStation, 2007 on PSP, PlayStation 3)
- Jigsaw World (2012 on Browser, iPhone, 2015 on Android)
Description official description
Jigsaw World contains 60 stock images for you to piece together and are grouped into categories for plants, nature, food, animals, rooms, and travel. You can solve them as they are or modify their characteristics such as the number of pieces, whether or not to be able to rotate them, and whether their edges should be morphed strangely. Puzzles can have between 12 and 690 pieces.
While working a puzzle you have various options. You can select and move groups of pieces at once. You can view a small version of the image or hide it, use a "ghost" image to place the pieces upon or sort the pieces by color/hue. There is also a magnifying glass and selecting "hint" will show you two pieces that fit together. You can also change the board's background color.
The game will save your progress on all puzzles partially finished. Completed puzzles are listed on a separate screen with the time it took you to complete each along with other statistics. Background music plays as you work the puzzles.
