Close Combat: Panthers in the Fog

Moby ID: 60205

Description

Close Combat: Panthers in the Fog is a real-time simulation of tactical combat in the Second World War. Players command the German or US Army forces that decided one of the pivotal moments of the break-out from Normandy. The six days of fighting can be played as single battles, operations linked together or as a grand campaign. Players issue orders for ground units and can also allocate air or artillery support. After the strategic section where the major orders are issued, the battle can then be engaged at a closer, tactical level. Each soldier has a personality and can gain experience. Soldiers tire and can lose or gain morale. Weather conditions include night and fog that influence the battles. Through the included scenario editor custom events can be created.
