Pegopolis

Pegopolis is a single player, tile elimination puzzle. It is one of a package of games produced by The Code Zone. Games from this package were used, in various combinations, in around twenty different game compilation packages.

This is a version of Peg Solitaire, a game which is played on a board where traditionally all cells apart from one have a peg in them. The object of the game is to remove pegs by jumping over them. The game ends when all pegs have been removed or when there are no legal moves remaining.

The game is entirely mouse controlled. It is played in a window which cannot be re-sized and features many different board shapes and variations on the standard layout among which are:* The classic English board

• The classic French board
• The Restaurant board, an American variant that is allegedly often played with golf tees as pegs
• The X board
• the Diamond board
• and two Checkers board variations

The game has sound, different backgrounds and pieces, a high score table, and in-game help screens.
