7x7

7x7 is a tile-matching puzzle game. The title refers to the size of the board where tiles of five different colours appear with each turn. The goal of the game is to survive as long as possible by creating matching lines with four tiles of the same colour, horizontally, vertically or diagonally. At the first level three new tiles appear per turn. With each turn the player has one opportunity to create a match by dragging a tile around anywhere on the board as long as there is an unobstructed path. When a match is created, the tiles disappear. The new tiles that appear with each new turn have a random colour and a random placement on the board. When a successful match is made, the player has another opportunity to move another tile and create a match, before a new turn is started. It is also possible to create matches of up to seven tiles, by connecting two three-tile groups for instance.

The game consists of four levels. In the first one three tiles appear per turn, in the second four tiles etc. The goal is to survive as long as possible and a certain amount of matches are needed to progress to the next level. Any move can be undone with a button in the top right corner. By creating combos a power-up can be earned to move a tile anywhere on the board, even when the path is not clear.
