Very short, very touching

The Good
I like the idea that a game was developed to raise money for a cause such as this and that it tried to paint little stories to make the whole event more personal was a stroke of artistic genius.

This is a very, very short game. It lasts maybe fifteen minutes at the most and there's very little action in it. The player follows a butterfly to an object, examines it, releases a butterfly that goes to another object and so-on. It doesn't sound like much but the pacing and the subdued colour palette are entirely appropriate. It's very moody and atmospheric and I found it genuinely touching.

There's no deeply solemn doom-laden music here, the music is restricted to a few chords on a piano - soft, gentle and entirely in keeping with the colour choice and the 'feel' of the whole piece.

The Bad
I can't think of a negative comment. If pushed I'd say there's no replay value, that's not what it was meant for.

The Bottom Line
I'm not an emotional guy but this moved me. It's short and it's elegantly done. I probably won't play it a second time but I'm pleased I gave it a try
