Lozenge and Hampshire: The Case of the Dead Person
Description
Lozenge and Hampshire is a detective duo parodying Arthur Conan Doyle's famous characters, Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. In an attempt to escape a sudden wave of boredom, they decide to investigate the murder that took place at Shrompshire Hotel, only to find out at the scene of the crime that Inspector Bungham has already captured the murderer. The detective tries to find out who exactly is the culprit as he battles law enforcement incompetence and goes once more through all of the evidence.
Lozenge and Hampshire: The Case of the Dead Person is a point-and-click adventure game with humorous conversations and solutions. The player travels through a fictional Victorian London, talking to other characters and solving puzzles. The puzzles usually involve combining items or simply using them at the right moment. The story can be advanced by completing puzzles and choosing the correct dialogue lines, although the progression is ultimately linear. The game sports an autosaving feature.
