Lozenge and Hampshire: The Case of the Curious Odor
Description
Lozenge and Hampshire: The Case of the Curious Odor is a short point-and-click adventure game parodying Arthur Conan Doyle's own Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. The detective duo Lozenge and Hampshire stumble upon yet another murder case at the Shrompshire Hotel. Barty Spleen was enjoying a drink with his doctor friend and Lady Scrimshaw in the hotel's lounge bar when he suddenly collapsed to the floor. The doctor was quick to pronounce a verdict: Barty Spleen was dead. A strange smell of almonds was coming from the victim's lips. Lozenge takes it upon himself to find the murderer and figure out how Barty actually died.
The entire game takes place in only one room - Shrompshire Hotel's lounge bar. The player controls detective Lozenge and can engage in conversations with the other characters, pick up or interact with items. In order to find the criminal, the player must take note of everyone's answers and use items in the right situations.
