Crossword Cove

Crossword Cove is a crossword game. The main screen is formed out of a grid of empty squares, each representing a possible letter. The main task is to fill the empty squares with letters so that they form real words vertically and horizontally. In a separate section of the screen there are hints for every word, and as the player guesses one word at a time individual letters from other interlocking words are revealed, which may help in spelling them out entirely. Additionally, there is a hint system that displays all the letters in the selected word, in a random order. If the challenge remains difficult, the game can be asked to solve the puzzle and write the word by itself. Some words contain stars, and after they are solved these can be used to uncover all instances of the most common letters in the entire crossword.

The game is updated daily with a new crossword, and past ones can be played via the "calendar" in the main menu. There are three levels of difficulty and it's possible to choose solving a crossword against a timer. Pogo Club subscribers have access to two more themes, which change the background and music.
