Tecmo Knight

Tecmo Knight is a side scrolling arcade beat'em up game.

The main hero is Tecmo Knight, who is assisted by the giant "Smokeman" and "Tiger" (also gigantic), and fights while riding on them. The player can switch mounts at the press of a button. They can also summon a flying dragon after collecting special items. The main villain is the evil beast "Wild Fang".

The rest of the game is pretty typical: go forward and punch enemies: cyclops, minotaurs, and other monsters and mythical creatures, who then explode in a fountain of blood, the head flying off.
