Description official description

Crüe Ball is a pinball game based on the glam-rock supergroup Motley Crüe. The game features Genesis-style renditions of the songs "Live Wire", "Dr. Feelgood", and "Home Sweet Home."

The main pinball table is three screens high. The goal of the game is to knock out certain targets in the two lower screens in order to gain access to the top screen. Once you get the ball into the top screen, you can hit a ramp shot to advance to the next level. All told, there are nine levels, each with varying goals to complete.

Four players can play in a round, with each player taking turns. There's also a bonus game where you play pong versus freaky exploding skeleton things.

Fighting with Flippers

The Good
Crue Ball is a strange game. It is a battle pinball game with Motley Crue tunes blasted at you throughout the game. It is an interesting game in which you have to fight your way up the table to fight a guardian who is defending the volume control. Once they are defeated, you can crank it up & progress to the next level.

I like this game partly because of the music, which sounds really good given that some of the songs played are actual rock songs. I also like the way the battle is presented, with plenty of features that can be found on regular pinball machines. The bonus level is also quite fun to play.

If you like pinball, this is worth giving a shot, if you are a Crue fan, I don't think you should miss it.

The Bad
The difficulty level can be a tad on the steep side. Although there is a level skip cheat in the game to allow access to all levels.

The Bottom Line
A slightly different pinball game to the norm. Worth playing.
