Granny Smith

Granny Smith is an endless running game (or endless rolling to be more accurate) where the player takes control of an old lady who equipped with a pair of roller skates has to catch a young thief who is stealing her apples. Like in other games of its kind, Granny automatically moves forward and the player has to press a button to jump at the right time and avoid crashing into various objects. By holding down the button Granny rotates while in the air and it's important to land on her feet or else she will crash. In addition to jumping Granny uses her cane to grab onto and glide on ropes and ziplines.

For each of the game's levels the goal is to reach the finish line. In addition to this there are three apples to collect and at the end the player gets a rating based on how many that have been collected. The game is not timed but to get the apples it's necessary to reach them before the thief does. The levels also have coins to collect, however if Granny misses a landing and crashes they are dropped (although they can be recollected if Granny runs over them again). Coins can be used for buying various power-ups. These include a helmet that protects against crashes, a baseball that can be thrown at the thief and a banana peel that can be dropped in front of him. Coins can also be used to skip levels. The player can also unlock new characters, including a dog and an old man called Stanley.
