Description official description
Blox is a puzzle where you need to eliminate block on a playfield. The blocks drop down from the top forming stacks and come in four colours: red, yellow, green and blue. The same colours are shown on the right side of the screen. By tapping the colours on the right, or using the four buttons on the 360 controller, a block slides in from the right at the lowest level. When a match of two identical colours is created horizontally, those blocks disappears and the ones on top drop down.
Speed also plays a role, as it is possible to slide in a block before another one dropping down can block it. Similarly combos can be created through chains or by quickly sliding in identical blocks. Certain blocks have a number showing it needs to be removed in a certain amount of moves. For each match, points are provided and after a certain amount a new level is entered, with blocks dropping down at a faster speed. There are bonuses such as the SuperShot that crushes the last line of blocks, the TimeBomb that crushes adjacent blocks, and the ColorChanger that changes colour all the time - when it is hit all blocks of the same colour are destroyed. The bonuses are activated by tapping the screen for the mobile version.
