Narcissus
- Narcissus (1989 on Amiga)
Description
Narcissus is a side-scrolling platform game with two playing characters, a black and a white human figure, controlled simultaneously by a single player or two. They start levels from the same point, but with their feet on opposite surfaces, the white proceeding upside down and being subject to an inverted gravity force attracting him to the top of the screen, the black in the fashion customary to platform games. They run automatically at a constant speed, and jump when respectively the up arrow key and down arrow key are pressed.
Levels consist of platforms and gaps. Elements such as one-way bridges (making only one of the two characters fall if not jumped over), jump boosters, fatal spike pits, pose additional hardships.
