Random House Puzzles & Games: Crosswords is a compilation that consists of two separate games each containing one hundred and fifty puzzles.

Random House Crosswords is based on three books published by that company; Golf Crosswords , Tournament Crosswords - the crosswords derived from this tome have target solve times, and Random House Ultrahard Crosswords Omnibus.

Random House Crosstics are also based on three books, Crostics With A Twist, and Random House Crostics Volume 4 and 5.

There are fifty "Crostics With A Twist ", In these puzzles the initial letters of the answers spell a title which, when used with the associated text, becomes a clue to the name of a famous personality. The first letters of the hundred Random House Crostics spell out the author and title of the work the associated quotation is taken from.

All puzzles can be played on the computer with a combination of keyboard and mouse, alternatively they can be printed and solved on paper.

In some releases the Crostics games are described as a bonus product.
