StrataPoker

StrataPoker is a single player, timed, mouse controlled card game.

Fifty cards from a standard pack are dealt in a pyramid format. As with MahJong games which use this shape the player can only access cards which are fully exposed.
The object is to make ten scoring poker hands that, when combined have a total score that exceeds the minimum requirement for that round. Every hand must score at least ace high, failure to do this ends the game as does running out of time.
The game is played over four rounds, in the Jack's round the hand containing the Jack of Diamonds scores double points, in the Queens round the hand containing the Queen of Clubs scores triple points, in the third round the King of Hearts scores quadruples the points for its hand and finally in the Aces round the Ace of Spades multiplies the score of it's hand by five.

The game has a high score table and when it was released it was possible for players to compete with other players by uploading their scores to an on-line Hall of Fame. In 2015 the site which supported this feature is no longer active.
