Trivia

Loophole franchise

The non-violent Loophole world was conceived by the developer Michael Stenmark, with the goal of a wide franchise of video games, TV-games, cartoons, figurines, books, TV-series etc. Some, but not all came to fruition; there was one interactive TV-game made for a Swedish TV4 childrens show 'Lattjo Lajban' in 2003, in addition to this PC game; and so far two books in Swedish by Niklas Krog have been published; Loophole: Drakmagi och saftsmugglare and Magiväktare och sköldpaddspirater, with one of the books inspiring another PC game Loophole: Dragon Magic and Lemonade Pirates that unfortunately was cancelled before completion. An animated interactive movie Loophole: Boogiboos Förbannelse / The Curse of Boogiboo, was released in 2003/2004 - it plays in similar fashion to simple 'choose-your-own-adventure' books, where you get to choose actions in short chapters, which end up having similar results regardless of the choice made.
