Description

Fury Yom! is a top-down action game. The player controls yOm, a monster who is very hungry for clovers. The game takes place in a maze-like structure - similar to a Pac-Man level - which is filled with clovers of different colours. The goal is to eat them all in order to open up one of the doors to the next level.

Many enemies walk around the level, too. These are tasty, but have a few downsides: yOm can only eat enemies with the same colour as he (his one changes after eating five clovers of the same colour) and, after bumping into them, the player needs to solve a quick-time event (pressing the displayed buttons with the right timing) in order to eat or, if they are not eligible, bypass them without losing life energy. Eating enough clovers also has other side effects, e.g. yOm receives a transformation orb which allows him to change colour at will or an attack orb. Eating red clovers causes life energy loss, but fortunately the other colours restore it.

Eating also awards experience points which can be used to improve yOm's abilities after beating a level, e.g. how long he can sprint, or his life energy.
