More fun than a monkey with a flamethrower

The Good
What wasn't there to like? First you had the story, which flung you into different timezones in some great environments, allowing you utilize some of the most entertaining and explosive weapons ever devised. And let's not forget the some of the best use of bots in multiplayer, providing hours of fun with friends. Speaking of friends, the story allowed for some fantastic CO-OP play. And then there were the challenges. My god, there are too many great things in this game to mention. Oh, it also had awesome zombies. Like, really awesome.

The Bad
There isn't much to hate, but the A.I is not much more than cannon fodder with feelings.

The Bottom Line
A game that if you haven't played, are missing out. Be ashamed!

Timesplitters 2: Needs more salt...

The Good
"Wow", I thought, upon booting it up and getting the singleplayer Story mode going. "True sequel to Goldeneye", my mind screamed.

That first level. It's a beauty. Well positioned enemies, good objectives. ZOMBIES. It all felt wonderful.

The Bad
Oh, christ, what happened? It's as though they poured everything, and I mean EVERYTHING they had to give into that first level. Everything afterwards feels oddly shallow, even for a standard FPS game.

Oh, and the aiming system isn't too great, but it's forgivable.

The Bottom Line
A rip-roaring crazy work of monkey-catching magic in multi-player. Don't buy it for single-player expecting some deep, great story. It's no Halo in one-player.
