Objectively quite good, but...

The Good
I liked the original Desert Strike a lot better. I have the Game Gear and PC versions (which are both very good) and sometimes still play them. However, Jungle Strike is something of a disappointment - it doesn't add much and it doesn't have the same feel. Objectively it is a good game, with reasonably good graphics, fast and smooth engine, good controls and decent gameplay, but it just lacks something.

The Bad
It lacks the certain appeal of the original Desert Strike. Also has quite lame sound effects.

The Bottom Line
Again, an objectively good shooter, but there's something missing here.
