The words "See where it takes you" are very fitting because the series would develop incredibly, from a simple "escape the room" to an infinite mechanical world.

The inventory is opened by moving the mouse cursor to the bottom of the game window.

Since at least a part of the old lighthouse is now underground, it's not that surprising that this humble dig site can be accessed from the building.

The portal machine. Actually (almost) every Submachine game has different kinds of strange devices for moving between places.

After the original release, but before the HD version the author provided this little extra...

...a short "playable sketch" of "Submachine 2", which features familiar graphics, but has a different perspective...

...in this version (which was provided as something interesting for fans) you can move around the room...

...however, this version was abandoned and in all Submachine games, including the official versions of "Submachine 2", you always see a room from the same perspective.
